Louis F. Schoelkopf, who ran a Ford dealership on East Washington Avenue during the first decades of this century, was typical of the many businesses who borrowed the dignity of the Capitol to enhance the products they sold. Schoelkopf, also an amateur photographer, made this photograph of a Model T on South Hamilton Street about 1917. The Board of Commerce Building is on the right side of the street. SHSW WHi(S6)25
